Development is moving very slow. I am in the phase of ajaxifying most of the javascript to be more asynchronist and provide a more dynamic type user experience.

I have done a bulk load of work for the facebook page stream/feed/wall. Still contemplating whether or not to make a complete new page and pull it off the index page or just leave it down the bottom for incoming users to see and comment.

Wow. Little did I know when taking on such a (what I thought would be simple project) big project that facebook was so difficult to get up to date documentation. Most of the time it is myself answering questions on facebook devs forum and not really getting any answers. Takes about two days of fixing, breaking and modifying code to get stuff to work.

I never knew JS was so fickle haha. Updating progress on 1st post.

how would this work to the user? if I login using my admin account would it prompt me to use facebook connect? if i login using facebook connect and my email (from fb) matches my phpbb user email would they ask me if we're the same?

The email address is not matched. What it does is gets your current session from facebook and assigns your uid from facebook to your user_id on phpbb.

Very soon.
Doing some finishing touches.
The release will be a beta version.
The next release will include the following.
Your profile wall will be available to your friends on facebook on the phpbb profile page.
You will be able to share links, pics, update your status and video.
I am also thinking about posting the post from phppb to facebook profile and a comment is replied to it will commented as friend and if the friend is not registered it will be called a facebook guest.
Also intergrating a special mini forum for a facebook page.

I have so much planned for facebook 2011 that you wont need to go to facebook at all but instead keep the user on phpbb. That's the dream any way

But beta will only include, connect, register like and comments.

Much work to do and so many waiting for the beta.

After 3 days of messing around with the paging system for the facebook page comments for websites I have finally mastered it. Ok now to polish the comments right off. I'm hoping that Stuk88 would like to package this up for me. That would be awesome. Leave me to further development of Facebook 2011. So probably about 2 -3 days time until alpha release. Everyone has been so patient. That's why I love the PhpBB community so much.

Its getting packaged right now. But only the basic version. Once this is out an alpha passes testing then the next upgrade will come.
