Translation guide

Post by joopla »

I'm not asking about "download the English pack and redo it line by line".

Is there an actual guide that lists which file in the lang pack pertains to what part of the board? I need to make a few changes in a pack I already have, but so far did not find the lines I want to change.

Or perhaps for the time being someone can point me to the lines that call for: Forum/Topics/Posts/Last posts
located at top of a category? Within which file of the language pack should I be checking?

Thanks.

There is no such guide. The names of the language files are the same as the phpBB file that the translations are used for. If there is no file with the same name, then most likely the translations are in common.php.

These variables are located in language/el/common.php.
