I have installed it and is really more fast than the old, but where is the modules wich can be uploaded?
And is there any solutions to have topics to scroll like the easy portal can?

Modules that can be uploaded, they are like MOD for phpBB, are not in default, but can be added. I think soon there will be more detailed documentation on how to create modules and make available to users.

Thanks for making this.
I installed it with automod on my testboard.
You have a problem with the portal folder. Its included in the automod download as a file.


EDIT: The same goes for the portal folder in the styles folders.

MORE EDIT: When disabling the Style selector and If you have not installed the portal on all styles you will get an error and you cant disable because of this error.

Hm, I have seen that before but I wasn't sure what was causing this. I'll test if this still happens if I zip my files with ubuntu (I guess not).

Edit: I've checked both files (ubuntu and windows) and I couldn't reproduce the issue. What is your server configuration? Do you maybe have different users for your files and PHP?

Hi. I am having a problem upgrading from 1.06 to this beta version. Some information:
CentOS 5.2
phpbb 3.0.8
MySQL 5.1.51
Using prosilver default theme
Had board3 Portal 1.0.6 installed through automod and it was working fine.
Tryed to upgrade to Board3 beta 2.0.0.b1 using automod.
Received this error that made my forums unreachable and had to restore database/files.

Upon uploading the beta In AutoMOD and clicking Install, I receive a message about manually checking if MOD version check is installed. It is installed, but as a test, I clicked on NO, and Board3 installed anyways, even though I clicked no

Regardless of whether I click no or yes above, the outcome below is the same. First I receive these 3 warnings:

I force the install, probably not a good thing, but you will have the other error messages then
I run the installer, it is set to "update" and I get the below error message (and this is what is in the board3 portal.txt file):

Converting from Board3 Portal 1.0.6 & adding basic set of modules
SQL ERROR Table 'dividall_phpbb.phpbb_portal_modules' doesn't exist

I delete the /install directory
I refresh the styles, purge the cache.

The ACP is still available, but no page of the user portal is accessible, I only get the error message:

I've restored my working database and files, but it you have something you would like me to test, I can try again. Thanks!

First of, you should follow the instructions for converting Board3 Portal 1.0.6 to 2.0.0b1. AutoMOD will just try to install 2.0.0b1 on top of 1.0.6, which will probably cause some errors.

The instructions for the conversion can be found in the contrib directory.
