Hack in PHPBB

Post by rumensoft » Mon Jan 23, 2012 8:12 pm

Hi, I have hack problem.
Some user from Poland (may be, the mail adress is .pl) hack my phpbb forum and post commercial. I have limit for new users, when they register, first topic to be allowed from admin. But he just hack this, and post again again. I can't see the IP.

What I can do?

Help me

If you are still using jfusion, this user might be registering through there, and bypassing the Newly Reg'd Users usergroup.

I have Joomla, JFusion and phpBB3, but no problem with spammers. Upon memberregistration spammers are excluded with this plugin EasyCalc Check Plus.

You do not have a hack problem.
You simply have users registering through Joomla.
This is not a board for JFusion problems, so you will need to ask your question where you got that.

yes, but I check in Joomla, and there is no the "hack user", he is only in phpbb3. Now I stop Jfusion I'm waiting to see what will happen ;)

You can stop registrations of new members in phpBB3 and let new members register through Joomla only. You are protected by spammers with the extension I recommended then.
