you mean 8.2.4? if so its got the same database structure as 8.1 so i'd say that it should convert with no problem you can always test it out locally using xampp

It is asking for the relative path FROM phpBB3 TO the Nuke phpBB2 files

Settings

This page collects the data required to access the source board. Enter the database details of your former board; the converter will not change anything in the database given below. The source board should be disabled to allow a consistent conversion.

Verifying conversion options:
Could not find path to your former board. Please check your settings and try again.
» \web\modules\forums was specified as the source path.

Specify conversion options

Database type:

Database server hostname or DSN:
DSN stands for Data Source Name and is relevant only for ODBC installs. On PostgreSQL, use localhost to connect to the local server via UNIX domain socket and 127.0.0.1 to connect via TCP. For SQLite, enter the full path to your database file.

Database server port:
Leave this blank unless you know the server operates on a non-standard port.

Database name:

^ is this the phpbb3 or phpbb2 db?

Database username:
^

Database password:
^

Prefix for tables in database:

Board path: This is suppose to be ../web/modules/Forums ? Says its wrong...
This is the relative path on disk to your former board from the root of this phpBB3 installation.

Refresh page to continue conversion:
If set to yes, the convertor will refresh the page to continue the conversion after having finished a step. If this is your first conversion for testing purposes and to determine any errors in advance, we suggest to set this to No.
Yes No

Hi, the tools works fine, but.

after I imported my old phpnuke site to my new phpbb3, features like View your posts, View your topics, View unanswered posts, View unread posts, View new posts and View active topics are gone. Also gone are the new threads that had been started on the new system.

When you convert an old board into a new one, it does not bring over any "features". You are only bringing over data, so you have the features of the new board with the data of the old board.

Yes I wish.

Compare these two screenshots, one before and one after the import:

One more issue: I did not have a user on the old site, but had a admin user on the new one. After the import, my admin user seems to have been degraded to normal user.

The "new" data would be completely replaced by the "old" data. You would have to use whatever users you had in the board you converted from.

Okay, I can probably create an admin user on the old db and re-import the old db.

But any idea about the feature loss? check the attached pics above.

What "feature loss"?
I cannot see your images, so you will have to describe them better.

If you are converting old data, there will not be any "New Posts".
PhpBB does not have a "View your topics" feature, so I do not know what that would be. There could not be any "unread posts" if you are not logging in.
