[DEV -> BETA] Points Zone

The reason it has both in the title, it is still being developed, but is stable enough for beta testing as it is complete thus far.

Ive seen this asked for so many times, just nothing like i made, a much weaker version. Anyhow, this brings 15 or so of the most popular points mod hacks into 1 mod.

Now dont worry, you dont have to have them all installed nor do you have to reinstall anything or lose any data. This mod has 4 files, its a drop & go mod, basically drop the files in place & its working. It makes 2 edits to your config table (automatically, didn't feel like making an installer).

The way it works, only the mods you have installed will display. The ones that have stats featrues:

Rabbitoshi
ADR
Activity Mod
Blackjack
Keno
Lottery
Lucky Dice
Slot Machine

Will all be displayed with the stats avaiable for them & links to them. The ones that are just basic addons, bank, shop, etcc have rows as well, an image & link & description.

So if you only have 3 installed, it will only display those 3. If you have all 15, it will display all 15. It uses very minimal SQL usage as well. So in short you can remove up to 15 links from your header & add one now

NOTE: This is based on the Points Mod. As some of these hacks are not compatable with the cash mod, therefor its not either. If you know PHP you can mod around it to make it work for the cash mod. But to save error posts & everything else, its coded for the points mod.

How it works, it uses functions to check for files, naturally every mod comes with its own files, thie mod does checks to see what you have installed & displays them.

Yes there might be errors on the site & she is very well aware of them, she is doing some site work & will have it all fixed ASAP, but the errors do not make it so you cant play with the mod some.

If you notice, ADR, Vault & Rabbitoshi are not listed there, she doesn't have them installed. Rabbitoshi has alot of statistics about the user with the oldest pet & ADR has satistics for the user who has played the most.

Thats correct, the only edits you'll need to make are deleting non needed links from the header & adding one pointing to this

You mean page_header.php, right? I will have to do some editing there...

This shouldn't be a problem at all except with my free hosting, and the google banner being on the top of the forum index, I do not have access to that area, and my host no longer takes request to have code added.

I'll have to get paid hosting. Won't be doing that for quite a while.

Oh, well. It's still sounds like an awesome MOD. Just wish I could use it. ^^;

After reviewing the codes to that RPG, i dont & wont use it, so you can easily modify this mod to support it if you wish

As for the file edits, you can edit overall header (the tpl) & hardcode the link.... To save editing page_header

This sounds like a real sweet deal,, especially the easy install part.
What if you already have some of those mods installed, do they need to be uninstalled before installing thione.

Edit: Sholud have read more closely,, so you can just leave out the mods you dont want or if they are already installed..

Have you ran into any problems running the

Vault
Jail
ADR

together since ADR has a vault and jail mod built in that use some of the same settings?

Ive ran them all together fine. There are just some install snips you can skip, like the jail mods snips to editing how the avatar appears etc.. are already done & what not.

And it is for the most part finished. Waiting for a "how about adding this mod" & what not... If i dont see any in the next day or so i'll release it!
