That wasn't one of the choices, and the voting has ended. ;)

I demand a recount! Its clear that everything was rigged, since Posting templates didn't win. ;)

Clearly we have two extensions that a lot of people are interested in, so we shall be taking a look into both Pages and Auto Groups to start.

Once we come up with some more detailed design specifications we will let everyone know! :)
Marvellous, this is giving 3.1 a real lift :D great to look forward to!

The pages extension will be good. 8-) Though I would have loved to see 'Posting templates', I actually need them before I can release my new site so I've had to 'MOD' the core quite heavily to get them for now. :|

And now that voting has ended, is there any reason that this topic shouldn't be locked to prevent those comments? :?

Once a decision is made, that can be posted back here and the topic unlocked for cheers and complaints.

Only one person has made such a comment since voting ceased. I don't see the need to close a topic over one comment.

Now, if it gets out of hand... ;)

I'm starting to wonder if someone just created a bunch of accounts just to get pages up on top of the list.
Please note that I will not be porting any of my mods to phpBB 3.1. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Are you saying that because your choice didn't end-up with the most votes?

Nope, I'm saying that there are trolls everywhere on the internet and I'm sure that if someone wasn't happy that pages wasn't winning they would go and create a bunch of accounts to upset the voting system.

It is unlikely.
Pages and Auto Groups were the most popular during the whole period of the poll.
So that's why those extensions have won the competition and have become the community choice. ;)

Just to be clear, I voted for auto groups and that was ahead by miles last time I checked. Also it slowed down when I last check. I'm really surprise in how it turned out.

In case you missed my note, we are doing both Auto Groups and Pages because there was such a high level of interest in both of the extensions.

After being worried about 3.1 for my current board, I have to say that after setting up a new RC2 test board I absolutely love it. Some neat little tweaks that you don't even notice at first, and the extensions...Well, they're brill. 8-)
