Yeah that's not a problem with this extension. Try posting any text to the Contact Admin Settings form and you'll get the same error. Don't know if the developers figured it out yet.

Yep, I thought it was a similar issue too, I posted a report in the tracker at: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-12865 and indeed, as you say it's the same with the 'Contact Admin' form... viewtopic.php?f=466&t=2252796

Amyway, I don't want to stray off topic, (although the initial error is when using this extension) so hopefully I can add the Board Announcements as it looks useful. 8-)

Having a Extensions Development Team working on official exts like this one and "PAGES" and "Auto Groups" is a brilliant idea to move 3.1 towards adoption by the majority of 3.0 admins

it's like holding out a "sweetener" to the 3.0 admins and saying "Yeah - you can have these if you want them on top" and of course a lot of 3.0 admins will do just that :D

Extensions Dev Team 8-) what a great Development!! :P

Hello,

I was wondering... why do you use plural form announcements as it's possible to set only one single announcement at the same time ?

Greetings

Sure, only one at a time, but you can create many different announcements over the lifetime of your board.

I would like to ask if would be possible to add into ACP option to set background color based on style (with style selection, so admin could choose different background color for every style). It kind of doesn't look to good if there is a few styles on forum and user use different style than default style (eg. user use dark style and default style is prosilver).

Edit: is possible to make transparent background, so it would use background color of post?
(Link to testing board with dark prosilver based style and Board Announcement ext. set for prosilver).

How about a mod that displays several blocks? Give the administrator to create more such blocks. Then label them constants for example, and where you want to display in the template and a few. In the admin to display a list of blocks. Was looking for something like this for phpBB 3.0.x not found.

This is a 3.1 extension. You should post in the 3.0 MOD Requests forum.
