well, being from Texas, It would be really hard for me to move anywhere else in the world. I used to say that if I was to move to any other country it woud be Australia just because I think it is most like Texas.

however, after seeing the internet speeds in the Netherlands, I may need to start learning the language so I can move there.

:D

I was not considering that he would be using a older slower router.

also, I have never personally seen speeds even high enough to out run a 54Mbps router much less the 300N routers that I use.

thanks,
robert
No, there is nothing wrong, it is just a limitation...

Brother is on YouTube. Nobody knows how hard it was for me to push this much speed. DSL just barely rolled out this spring here, and all they would offer is 1600Kbps sync. After a lot of calling, they finally have me syncing at 5024Kbps, so if nobody's online, I usually get around 4.3Mbps or so. And we're over 5KM from Central Office, so the line is screaming to push that much

Beats the Fixed wireless ISP we had before though :P

Gotta love living in the middle of nowhere :P

We use the the Camo SSL image proxy. Since we require the use of SSL on phpbb.com, all images served here need to be served via SSL or people will get warning of "insecure" content being served. So the proxy copies the file locally and serves it up via SSL. I believe we were using a hooks file to do this and it just needs fixed/or converted to an extension to work with 3.1.
