Extension description: An official phpBB Extension that allows administrators to create a special board-wide announcement at the top of any page being viewed.
Features:
- Single announcement/notice displayed throughout entire forum
- Fully customisable announcements with BBCode support and previews in ACP
- Customisable announcement background colours
- Users can dismiss an announcement once read
- Set announcement to be visible to all visitors or members only
- Download and unzip the current release.
- Upload the extracted package in to the
extdirectory of your phpBB board. - Navigate in the ACP to
Customise -> Manage extensions. - Look for Board Announcements under the Disabled Extensions list, and click its
Enablelink. - Set up and configure by navigating in the ACP to
Extensions -> Board Announcements.
