Anti Spam ACP

Post by cprgolds »

I have been using (and very pleased) with Anti Spam ACP https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/anti_spam_acp/, particularly because the Stop Forum Spam database has eliminated almost all of my spam.

I don't see a request for this yet, but this would definitely be a worthy addition to the extensions list.

Would also like to see this one updated. Has been the one of the most valuable mods for any board that gets targetted with spam.

+1

Would be nice if the extension would include a customizable one-click ban option (see my request for one-click ban : viewtopic.php?f=496&t=2272421)

That was my post over there. Have not heard anything since. Would be nice (and maybe useful) to see others add to that post.

It is possible to use the IP-address check from stopforumspam.com during the registration process using the solution at http://fixingtheweb.com/phpgoodies/stopforumspam.php also in phpBB 3.1.

I'm a 3.0.X holdout as well. I will need to see this extension before I make the change to 3.1...
