Hi there, when the "recent topics on index" extension is installed, the welcome box shows up below that. Is there a way to get it to show on the top of that?

I have the same issue.
Disabled AND deleted the data of "Recent Topics on Index", then enabled it again: Nope, situation remains

I hope the extension handeling af this will be changed in the future so that you can decide which order to display extensions with same location.
Anyway, only thing to do is to copy the content of the included event file and insert it in index_body.html where you want it and then delete the file in the event folder.

Or rename the index_body_markforums_before.html too overall_header_content_before.html then welcome on index is always at the top.

Renaming the files in question will sort the order notice the chat is also up top ?

Code: Select all

Bad idea, it will then appear on all pages without all the info.

Don't delete the file, it will give an error.
I uploaded it again, and delete the part between <!-- IF not S_IS_BOT --> and <!-- ENDIF -->

Then I placed the content in overall_header_before_content using the CustomCode extension from Martti , so did not have to actually edit any file

The error will go away when you purge the cache in ACP
