Seperate username and Login?

I had a mod on 3.0.12 that allowed for a username completly seperate from a login name. Im wondering how to make that happen in 3.1.

I have made custom profile fields for things like that in the older versions.
I'm sure that will also work in phpBB 3.1.1
That would require edits in the templates to show that separate username where you want it.

Or did you have a mod for that in the older versions that you are wanting in phpBB 3.1.1?

Dang.... I never thought of that. That's actually a lot simpler and would be able to be ported without any mod.

Have you tried to contact nouveau to see if he would be interested in porting his mod into an extension?
Because after 10 months I don't think "Bump" is working out to well for you. Good luck with your quest!

I had not requested that they port the mod. However I just sent them a PM asking if they would.
