PHPBB - THANK YOU for 10 years!!!!!!

Post by JLA »

Not sure how many of the PHPBB2 PHPBB team read this but some of these thanks go out to those here as well.

Celebrating our 10th Year!
Yesterday, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary! JLA FORUMS went online Wednesday November 17th, 2004 at 12:31pm EST.

We want to thank all of those who were involved in creating and supporting PHPBB2 (the foundation of what our site is built off of) as well as the mod creators of some of the original mods that we built our site on. Without all of your efforts and creations, we would not have been able to do what we've done for the past decade.

Thank You!

I'd like to echo JLA's sentiments. I began with phpbb 2 in May of 2003 and it's still holding up well. I am in the process of upgrading to 3.1.x and the good folks here never tire of helping out. Well done and thank you.

And an added note to compliment the absolutely stunning job everybody has done here on the new forum. It's looking brilliant and I'm enthusiastic about getting it online.

Thank you!

I want to say thank you to any involved with phpBB. You folks are the best!

I just started my first board (non-commercial) and I am no programmer, or code writer. Even with just average computer skills I fairly easily was able to configure and customize my board to my liking. I've received excellent support from here on the forums for the few questions I have needed help with and I appreciate that. 8-)

Hi everybody at phpbb.com's team !!!

I just want to really thank you a lot for all your work !
The last release of phpbb 3.1.x is just amazing, really !!! I love it, so much.

I remember how it was anoying to install just one or two mods before, I've done it a lot of time, and now, with ext. it's just so simple, may too simple  ^^

No, it is really a good job you made for us, for every people unsing phpbb for forums. All is truely cool.

And I can't imagine the whole work it needs to release such a thing, you're all completely devoted to your community, and this is just very nice :)

Excuse my bad english, I try to do my best.

Kinds,
Geronimo(z) from France.

Thank you for an awesome product that helps us get things done for almost 10 years!

We use PHPBB for internal bug tracking and main outbound technical support.

It is a wild beast to configure …but PHPBB always delivers!

THANK YOU!

We use phpBB for our internal knowledge management (along with our own wiki installation). Very useful and many thanks to the whole team for this great piece of work.

Thank You For Making Extensions!

Post by rick5150 »

I have been using phpBB for a long time and this is the biggest improvement I can remember. The extensions are SO much easier - and way less time-consuming to use than hacking the code. A big Kudos to the phpBB team and everyone involved with developing 3.1, the styles and the extensions. Loving it!
