I'm a PHP coder but I have never written an extension, and I'm trying to get a new business going so I have no time these days to do serious development work on this. However, I'd love to see this ported so I'm also willing to volunteer to help Beta test. I have a couple of forums with Dev/Test branches that I could install it on, one of which has numerous subforums and tens of thousands of posts and is running on a very fast VPS, the other of which is brand new and running on a shared server, so I can test under both extremes. I'll try to check this forum somewhat regularly, but probably best to email me.

I tried working on it to see if I could take the challenge of making it work on phpBB 3.1.x. I've gotten stuck in many areas. It's been a slow and grueling learning experience. I hope another more advance dev can make it work.

I do have a suggestion. That when we opt to use certain width ads. That it should have an alternative ad so it doesn't break up the width during the responsive feature (smartphones).

Plus it always had a date time when the ad should stop showing, I got a wishlist. To also make it possible for us to start a date or have the ad be recurrent like once a year or once a month once every other several weeks and etc. Great for holiday and special dates to advertise certain things.

Just for the record, my team will be writing something like this in the future. I am not sure whether we are going to make it paid or put it out for free, but it is currently on our development schedule.
