OK, on closer examination, the problem doesn't seem to be ALL topics.

One specific topic that it does appear in is in the Programming forum. Specifically the second topic, "Poll: To update or not to update, that is the question."

It also appears in enough other topics checked at random that I'm still concerned.

The error is referring to a non standard bbcode - so my guess is that you have removed that bbcode which was installed as a MOD

I now no longer support any of my extensions but they will start to become available here

Hmm. The last Mod I removed was Advanced BBCode. That might explain the problem. The topic probably has posts that use the Modded BBCode Add-on. I had planned to upgrade to 3.1.5 but am now unsure that would be a good idea.

Does anyone know if there is a way to recover those topics that have ABBC3 codes? I would have thought that the topic would open but that the posts would look odd due to the non-working bbcode.

OK, I have been able (probably mostly through blind luck) to overcome the problem with the error code above.

Now I am getting a different problem that seems even worse. I will start a new topic.

Thanks for the help so far.
