I'm really wanting to switch over to phpbb, but I don't want to lose our community in the process.

search here in this forum, if you don't find one then there isn't one.
then, search in the 3.0 convertors forum. if you find one then you can convert to 3.0 first and then upgrade 3.0 to 3.1
