Pull request has been merged, but you will have to wait until 3.1.7 for it to be included. When I get home tonight, I'll push the extension to the repository and provide a link. If you're brave enough to add the required event, it should work fine.

First post updated. You can install on 3.1.6, but need to revert this commit and add the required event. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Thank you for uploading it!

One question: there's any way to put the Description before the autor (By "X user") in the Topic list? I would like to show it like:

"Topic title"
"Topic description"
"Author"

Thanks for reading ~

That would require changing the extension code to hook into a template event which doesn't yet exist.

As Bill stated, this would require a new event, and I see no reason to request a new event when a perfectly suitable event already exists. It may not be placed where you would like it, but it's still suitable and has no bearing on the functionality this extension offers.

Maybe you should add the topic description in search result pages (for search topics), and in MCP pages ?

Otherwise, i have an issue with Quickedit extension: https://github.com/marc1706/phpbb3-ext-quickedit. When i update a topic with this extension the topic description becomes empty.

Great idea! Search results I can easily do. I'll have to look at the MCP to see if there are any useful events.

Unfortunately, this is something I have no control over. That extension (rightfully I might add) only expects the subject and text fields. I suggest prodding Marc and make him aware. He may be able to add some sort of check to see if this extension is installed and allow editing/retaining data if so.

Marc has fixed this issue, here: https://github.com/marc1706/phpbb3-ext- ... it/pull/75, thanks to him.

The description shows up in search results (sorry, only "topics" view, not "posts" view). I haven't looked at the MCP yet.

I am abandoning this extension for the time being. Due to some health issues (diagnosed with BC), I have no time to work on this extension. The code will remain in GitHub if anybody wishes to pick it up.
