Hi all, thank's for this port for 3.1

i have small problem, i cannot see roles to choose to show thank's under groups MISC permissions

i had top5 at he bottom of the forum, but can't acceess, u don't have permission
i have thank's got and left numbers in topic view in profile,
i use 3.1.5 latest version from github, and prosilver.
but my forum/acp language is russian.

before i had 3.0 removed mod before installing 3.1.5, installed 2.0.2 got all the thank's left history, but can't select permissions, i also cleaned cache and removed all but this single extension, but same.
i do have other permission roles under MISC like shoutbox, similar topics...etc

Is this ext ever going to be released? It has been in dev since we moved from 3.0 to 3.1. I used to use this on 3.0 and is very good and would love to see it released on 3.1

Obviously I can't answer that question, but I can say that, I (and I'm sure a lot of others) have been using this ext on my live board for sometime now without any problems.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts (Keeping thanks after updating)

Post by Sepp71 »

Thanks for working at this extension! I have no updated my board to 3.1 and unfortunately cleaned the database tables before.
Is it possible to save the old thanks somehow?
I have an old version of a database table called phpbb_thanks with over 4000 entries. But as far as I remember, there was an entry in phpbb_users where the thanks were counted. I could find it out in my backups but new users have been added to the live database meanwhile

Can anyone help me? Will it work when I reimport the old thanks table?
If necessary: Is there a way to import a single column to phpbb_users although phpbb_users has changed meanwhile?

I have little problem. There is no options for set priveleges for Thanks for Post in ACP/Priveleges

I can only set two:
ACL_U_VIEWTHANKS
ACL_U_VIEWTOPLIST

there is no:
'ACL_F_THANKS' => 'Can thank for posts',
'ACL_M_THANKS' => 'Can clear the thanks list',

I have latets extension version (phpbb 3.1.6)

btw. admins and mods can thanks for posts.

And next problem: I copied en/ directory to pl/ directory (i translated all text) and i still have english language.. (bufor/sessions - cleared) - but this is maybe problem with phpbb 3.1.6...

Hi,

there are permissions in groups/forums permissions section, in ACP, Permissions tab. You have to set the permissions per each forum.
