When comes phpBB 3.1.7 or 3.2.X?

Actually, that's only partially correct. The 3.1.x releases come as needed, but 3.2.0 is scheduled for this month or next month. See the phpBB Release Page.

I know, but we don't have a date for a 3.1.7 and i don't see a Alpha of 3.2...so maybe Release in Nov/Dec is a bit to close.

no work at all.

download the complete 3.1.6 zip package to your computer
unzip it.

upload the included files to the server

run one file in your browser

done.

Hello all, sorry if this has been done to death already. :?
I thinking I should upgrade my forum which means moving from phpbb 3.0.14 to 3.1.7 ?
I use a theme called Metro which has now been updated to work with 3.1.7
sooo, can I go directly to 3.1.7, or do I need to upgrade to 3.1 first?
I'm sure I will have all sorts of trouble doing this so if there are good articles already out there, feel free to point me :D

no trouble at all, yes you can go stragight to 3.1.7

you can NOT use any of your MODs if you had any in 3.0, you can not use your 3.0 metro style at all.

you will have to find 3.1 extensions for any MODs that you had and you will have to install the 3.1 version of the metro style if it exists.

I gave the link in the post above on how to upgrade.

follow those instructions exactly and in order and you will be fine.

should only take a few minutes.

Ok, so first dumb question: Which config.php file do I retain/delete? Seems to all kinds of files with that general name.
This one or the config folder?
