This extension would be a good match with brunoais's one.

Awesome, I have been waiting for an extension like this. :-)
Would it be possible to "high jack" the new topic button in a specific forum, so when pressed you are presented with the Support Ticket assistant, instead of the new topic page?

Would the admin be able to select a group that cannot send support tickets (Say they have abused the feature)? And those who have abused the feature are moved to that group.
Cheers,

+1 - it would be great if the questions could be customized for different types of support forums. Or is this already possible?

you just edit the html files in the extension styles/all/template/event folder.

I agree it would be more convenient but it would also probably restrict what you could do with it.

by being able to edit the html/css directly you can create whatever type of form/ support ticket you require.

this is the way the old versions were done in both phpbb2 and phpbb 3.0 and now in 3.1 as well.

luck,

That's like suggesting to modify the core code. ;)

The scope of extensions is: the end users have nothing else to do if not install/disable/re-install those extensions, if an extension gets updated/upgraded the end users will loose their edits (call them MODs).

all true, but that is how this extension is designed and until he changes it that is how you will have to edit the form for the support ticket.

and no, this is not editing core code. just editing the extension code.

there are actually several extensions that you might have to edit the extension template files to make changes to.
