i tried it with several pcs and browsers..its the same problem. Its not a problem with Anti Virus or adblock software.... .
Strange. If it was just the one PC and its not an AV or AdBlock problem I would say that it was a JavaScript problem, but as it also happens on others its a bit strange.

I'll have to dig a bit and see if I can find the cause.

I link to your board with the ext enabled might help

Ok

here a link to my board:
http://forum.veggie4life.de/allgemeine- ... r-t26.html

There you can see the Amazon link, and it works only if i switch the tab for a second.

Hello Matt_S,

yes it works fine and the tag=vegforum-21 is already there, but not on the first klick! Only if i klick on the link without the tag and go back, or i switch the tab in the browser and go back, the right link with the tag appear.

Matt, did the tag appears immediately?

I didn't click the link at all, just copied and pasted the shortcut. Even on my iPad, it shows the tag correctly.

It shows instantly for me as well. Both in FireFox and Internet Explorer. No refresh or tab switch needed.

It has to be something local to your settings. What browser do you use? Have you tried the browser with all ad ons disabled?

Cool!

I do seem to have the below issue where the tag isn't applied to the mouseover, until I've viewed a different browser tab and then returned to the tab with the amazon link. But it works well otherwise. Nice extension mate 8-)

EDIT: I just tried using a tracking ID with a DOT in it, the EXT seems to miss off the DOT and everything after it in the mouseover/link. Just thought I'd let you know. :)

Do Amazon Affiliate ID's have DOTs? I can't remember ever seeing one.

Ah, I'm using 'Tracking' ID's in my Amazon affiliate account, so I added a tracking ID to the Admin panel for the extension. I created another tracking ID without the DOT and all is well.

Any updates on this? Will it be officially released at some point?

I have it on multiple forums and oddly enough on one forum it does not work. I have 2 other extensions, one for moving the profile info to the left of posts, and one to open external links in new windows. The other odd thing is that I use the same 3 extensions on another forum and the amazon affiliate code works. Very strange.

How strange that it errors on only the one forum. I assume that you have tried un installing>deleting>re installing? Maybe its the order the ext's were installed? (though I cant think why) I know its OK with ELONW as I use it.

I have submitted it to the CDB but it was denied due to the way it was packed, and the use of Javascript.

I will get round to re writing/re packing/re submitting it, but my health has other ideas at the moment.

So it turns out I was using an older version of the extension so when I updated it now seems to be working OK. Whoops, my fault.
