[CDB] Hide Bots

Extension Name: Hide Bots
Author: RMcGirr83

Description: phpBB 3.1 extension that will not show bots to regular users and guests within the online user list in the stats section. Admins will still be able to see the bots in the stats section.

Version: 1.0.1

Download: https://github.com/rmcgirr83/hidebots/releases/latest

Installation:

Copy the entire contents of the zip to the ext directory of the forum
Navigate in the ACP to Customise -> Extension Management -> Extensions.
Click Enable on "Hide Bots"

i have Separate Bots extension (dosnt'work hide bots)

but i can disable it without problem eheh!

Okay, how about a direct link instead of making me hunt for it and provide the code for if the extension requires me to register to download it, I will not be doing that.

On a side note, I noticed most if not all of the Users coming here from IT are used to lurk and install extensions from those RU sites, I can't understand why.

Also, I saw a bunch of "coders" from IT they posted here some kind of extensions that now are obviously into the ext ABD forum, those of them are absolutely taken from those RU sites. And those "coders" weren't able to manage the smallest bugs the end-users got from them.

Nothing against RU, being myself politically correct, but.. just a thought.

I do not use extension of coders italians.. i have only report a conflict with another "dev" extension.
however, there are few people here who do good extension! (or .com .ru or etc)

I wasn't directly speaking with you, if you consider yourself as a part of those isn't my fault.

Next time please consider to provide a direct link to where to download that extension you were talking about in your above post, as requested, instead of making the Author (or me, in this case) to get it for your benefits.

How do you think the Author will be of any help if you aren't the first one that gives the right informations on where to lurk at?

Yes, but he does it in a completely different way (queries the groups table...I don't).

Nothing I can do about that. You would have to change their code. But I have to wonder why you would want to hide bots in an extension that specifically places bots on a seperate line (as well as adds queries to the index page when run).

It may be more immediate for administrators to know which bots are crawling into their boards instead of looking for them into the online users list.
