IP's in Who is online for moderators

In the Who is online part of the forum, I can see the IP and other information that my moderators can not see, Is it possible to change this so my Moderators can see the IP of users online..

Do you mean the who is online isn't? Like this: viewonline.php

I am talking about on my forum, I am admin and when i check the viewonline.php I can see the IP of the users online, my moderators can not see the IP, I would like to change this so they can see the IP of those online.

I believe you would have to give your moderators the admin permission of "can manage user". that would also give them a lot of other permissions that you may or may not want them to have, like access to the admin panel manage users section.

I am curious why you want them to be able to see the IPs. what benefit does being able to see the IPs give you , much less your moderators?

Yes 3Di, i am sure there must be some code I can edit (probably in the viewonline.php?) to make this possible.

There is no ? in the whois online, maybe its cause i have a style based on SubSilver? I don't know, I know on PHPBB2 the moderators could see the IP if they opened the whois online section, someone give me some code, but hey thats along time ago and PHPBB3 will be different.

Below is what I can see and I would like my Moderators to see the same info.

The "?" icon is in each post in viewtopic. If they can see the IP (for whatever possible use that is), why does it matter where they can see it?

Does this have something to do with spam?
