Thanks for the huge Diff, but that's not all there's to it, or is it ?
There are other general style related changes we need to know about ?

Not sure specifically what you are looking for between the diff Crizzo provided and the PR link I posted.

Does this answer your question? otherwise pls can you be more specific. (Are you looking for a changelog summary? Recap page similar to the 3.1 launch page https://www.phpbb.com/about/launch/ ?)

Hi,
thank you for the pr/ticket list. From that i can perhaps decipher what actually changed by reading the PR comments.
But a simple write-up of the changelog in text would be easier for most of us.

looking over these changes, it seems alot of CSS class names were totally replaced by others. That really complicates things.

for example navbar_header.html

before
<li id="quick-links" class="small-icon responsive-menu dropdown-container<!-- IF not S_DISPLAY_QUICK_LINKS and not S_DISPLAY_SEARCH --> hidden<!-- ENDIF -->" data-skip-responsive="true">
after
<li id="quick-links" class="quick-links dropdown-container responsive-menu<!-- IF not S_DISPLAY_QUICK_LINKS and not S_DISPLAY_SEARCH --> hidden<!-- ENDIF -->" data-skip-responsive="true">

So in converting an existing prosilver based style, i'll first have to update css files, and then only look at the html. because diving right into the html just isn't working for me.

Oh man...This possibly means the end for my updating.

I've added a lot of my own CSS over the years, and also minified it all into a single/couple (Can't remember) files to be in line with good practices regards speed and efficiency.

the only major changes as far as classes go is related to icons and buttons which are there own modules so very easy to decipher

also don't dive into the html before using dev tools in your browser. ;)

One of the improvements that I have been working on is separating the js from the html and css meaning less hidden rendering so that more can be viewed and accomplished via dev-tools interface making it easier to fix/tweak the themes. The only outlier that still remains is the shity way prosilver accomplishes responsiveness with JS instead of pure css.

in that regard a lot of the responsiveness has been re-accomplished via the responsive.css file. Most of the responsivity is found in this file.
