Take forum out of maintenance mode through FTP

Post by Lunaus » Mon Jan 16, 2017 7:36 am

As the title says I want to know if I can take my forum out of maintenance mode using FTP. I'm using AWS (Amazon) for hosting and DNS for my S3 and EC2 servers, I've since changed where the sub-domain for my old forum to my new forum and none of the passwords I have work for my old forum so I can no longer log in - I've also tried entering every username under the sun to reset it but I either never changed the email address from w/e the default was or it was an email that I misspelled and no longer use - so I tried to get into phpmyadmin but for whatever reason putty is having connection issues when I follow the instructions provided by the stack owner Bitnami to create an SSH instance to access the localhost IP that needs to be used for phpmyadmin.

TL;DR - Locked out of my own forum, need to take it off maint mode through FTP (if possible).
