You will need to check all your coding for the private messaging. Not fun but has to be done.

However im having problems with it displaying duplicates of the attached files, so it will display image1 twice after my post instead of once. Not sure how to fix their either

Check your code in all the posting type .tpl files.

Check your code in the posting.tpl files.

Can you tell me exactly what posting.tpl file I should be looking at? (got 8 in my chosen templates folder)

I would grab the install.txt from the mod attachment and take a look and see which .tpl file might be responsible for the code I suspect you coded a line twice is why you are having the issue.

Ok been back through the posting.tpl files ive been told to edit in the install txt and their all right yet I'm still getting problems...

The Attach-Mod don't show text in english and in german, too.

A few pages back here aswell as I had the same problem.

Be sure to upload ALL your pages to the website. Sometimes it needs to be done file by file and not selecting all folders and files at once to upload.

Yes there is a solution, properly insert the code into your files make sure all the files are uploaded to the proper directories and it works. This is a huge mod, it is not easy it is a tedious process.

I don't want to sound like a smart a$$ but it will work when you do your part right.

I'm trying to modify the viewtopic_attach_body.tpl to add a link after the Viewed: (x) times that links to the the full picture.

this is what i've got so far:

{postrow.attach.attachrow.U_DOWNLOAD_LINK} loops back to the thread...

Any suggestions?

I updated my Attachment Mod to the latest version this morning, but now all the signatures disappear when there are one or more posts containing an attachment on the page. The signatures return when I remove the {postrow.ATTACHMENTS} from viewtopic_body.tpl. As soon as page contains no attachments (regardless of elsewhere in the thread), the signatures return.

I'm running phpBB 2.0.13, with download-links for the attachments. My forum is pretty well-modded, so overwriting any files with the pre-modded ones is not an option.

I've already spend more than an hour trying to locate the problem and editing files, but I have no idea anymore where to look. Suggestions or maybe an actual fix would be very welcome. The phpbb and google search have not yielded any usable information.

If you upload them to my site by way of my attachment mod I will look at them for you. I would need the before and after files of the offending tpl files
