User last visit date/time

Post by Ivgoneridng »

Is there a way, without visiting each individual profile and without viewing the database directly of displaying when users last visited the forum? For example, would it be possible to display it as a column in the member list?

If you use prosilver style then it already does

I'm using a modified version of prosilver (colour change and modied login page only) and the membership list shows join date not last login.

Switch to prosilver and see if it goes.
If it does then your modified style has issues.

All my sub-style does is change colours (colours.css) and modify the login page (login_body.html and login_forum.html). Everything else is inherited from pro silver

Because this topic has been moved from support requests to extension requests by a mod, I can't add my screen dumps showing that changing the colour makes no difference.

Posting screen dumps has nothing to do with switching styles

I know, but it shows that I have switched styles.

I switched styles and the list still shows joined date.

I can confirm that in the 3.1.10's (the version which I am testing) prosilver it works.

Having given myself global admin rights (was "just" board founder before) I can see last active, not last visit. Two different things.
From memberlist.php:
// If we sort by last active date we need to adjust the id cache due to user_lastvisit not being the last active date...

I am "simply" the founder at my test board and I can see both of them: last visit and last active.

last joined and last active, sorry.
See the grab I above posted.

The excerpt of code you quoted isn't related, that's another stuff.

As an example, I last visited my forum this morning at 8:31, but I was last active at 8:42.

Your grab doesn't show last visit, and as founder with no admin rights I couldn't see even last active in the member list in prosilver

I got the point.

Yes, indeed this stuff needs to be an extension.
So you need both last active and last joined or simply last active instead of last joined? Or both?
