Skipping a version won't be a problem. You can safely go from 3.2.0 to 3.2.2, when it's released.

Wow, sounds helpful. Thanks for the info. Will directly move from 3.2.0 to 3.2.2, when it's released. :)

You do realise if you haven't edited any core code you can follow Knowledge Base - Updating 3.2.x?

So when do you plan to release a working Automatic Update for 3.2.1?

I don't believe that there are any plans to do so - you will probably have to wait for 3.2.2

Looks like I'll have to do that too.

Why on Earth the auto-updater will work for 3.2.0 → 3.2.2 and not for 3.2.0 → 3.2.1 is something that has not been clearly explained.

There is nothing to explain. There is a bug in the 3.2.1 Auto updater which will probably be fixed in the 3.2.2 updater.

If you don't mess about with core code, which you shouldn't need to do with the advent of extensions, you don't need the auto updater.

Everyone who reads this topic carefully, will see, that he can use the Auto-Updater for 3.2.1, too.

Did not happen. Bug still there, apparently.
