Would it be possible for you to create a version of the mod that hides the text with an image until member replies?

Hello I hope you can help me, I have installed easymod and the multi_bbcode-140c, I have got it to work with the subsliver style but for some reason there is no button called hide, but it still works if I manuelly do

[hide]whatever I want to hide[/hide]

can you please tell me which file generates the button image so that I can go through the install procedure for that file?

I am unsure what is wrong I have tried to go through the install procedure quite a few times so I hope you can help me

I have tried using firefox and IE latest versions but the button isn't there, so please help me out

If there is anything you need to know then please ask, but please be aware that Im a complete beginner as this is my first manuelly installed mod

Thank you

You insert the button in "includes/bbcode.php".

Thank you EGIS, I now know what I did wrong, the error was simple

I did

Code: Select all

	//NOTE: the first element of each array must be '' Add new elements AFTER the ''
	$EMBB_widths = array(''40') ;
	$EMBB_values = array(''hide') ;
instead of

Code: Select all

	//NOTE: the first element of each array must be '' Add new elements AFTER the ''
	$EMBB_widths = array('','40') ;
	$EMBB_values = array('','hide') ;
It now works as I said this was my first time, now I can do the rest of the styles that I have installed, thank you again

You have to install the Multi BBCode MOD before installing this mod. The Multi BBCode MOD can be found here.

Aarff. Egis, i think it was not a good idea to called your mod like mine (created in 2002). :?

My mod allow users to hide a message via some "bbcodes", ex : [hide] message [/hide].
To see a hidden message, you must be a member and you must post a reply to the message...

Mod Hide :

I knew about your mod before making mine. In the beta thread i was advised to call it "Hide BBCode mod", because the original was too long. I thought this was okay, since your mod wasn't in the database.

So why do you give phpbbhack url to people, instead of the official website ? On phpbbhack there is a very old version version of my mod.

Why an old version ? Because i have not enough time to update every website about phpbb, and it's for the same reason that mod hide is not on phpbb official website.

Original mod hide is here => http://www.philiweb.com/accueil.php?num=15

I'm not in phpbb mod database, and so ? My mod can easily be found on google since 2002.
