Yea, i brain farted majorly obviously. I do have an other site with phbb3 installed so i can get most of the info from that config.php, my only issue is im not exactly sure of the table prefix and since im on IIS, i dont have phpmyadmin cause i cant find a good installer for it. I do have a small backup from when i first installed last July, but im not sure how to open it to view the files if its even possible, if so then i could get the table prefix from there, right?Lumpy Burgertushie wrote: ↑Wed Feb 07, 2018 7:05 am the full package is what you are supposed to be using and not the autoupdate. that is only if you have been editing the core code for some reason.
anyway, if you don't have at least of backup of your config.php file then you can recreate it:
Knowledge Base - Rebuilding Your config.php File
once you have done that, you can update the database and you are done.
yourdomain.com/yourphpbb/install
then click on the update tab then click on update database then click on database only and submit.
wait,
done.
as usual, you have to delete the folder named install
