It looks like this may be an extension issue. I applied the same theme that does work on my other site and I have the same text issue. Trying to narrow it down is a PITA.

And I found the problem. It was the Profile Left extension. I use the Win 10 black theme and had the Profile Left ext on to keep the profile on the left side, but I can't use that. So I tried the Profile Side Switcher ext and that solves the text issue as well as keep the profile on the left.
