How do I make it stop ? Everyday I delete up to 10 new members that want to spam porn links. I currently have Admin activation required. They are humans not bots. I have tried email activation but they still register. I have been banning IPs but it doesn't help. Any ideas ? www.minimachinist.com is my forums.

and it would help if you gave us a link to your board.
what you are describing is very very unusual as long as you have a good anti spam setup for the board.
Also, are you sure they're all humans? Some posts can seem human but bots can become very sophisticated.
What we usually recommend if you only target a specific audience is to create a Q&A question that you're sure is very easy for your audience, but not for people that just want to spam. The ultimate difficult dilemma is that you don't want to make it too difficult for real users to register while still making it too difficult for spammers (bots usually) to get through and thus non-Googleable.
'Requirements not met' error
If you see this message The plugin cannot be selected as its requirements are not met then that means you have more than one language installed but you have not set the question in every language.
On the page where you write the question and answer there is a drop list for all of the languages installed in the board. You must choose each one in turn and enter the question and answer.
I deleted 8 spammers today before turning on Q&A. Now I'll wait to see what happens. I also switched from Admin autho to email verification. Thanks for the help.
the Q&A you are using is interesting but it may not work very long. if you put that question in google the bots can probably find the answer on the first page.
also, it is a multiple choice question. the bots will just answer with several options and will hit the right one probably on the first try.
also, when I ran the question in search, one of the answers I found was: " 2, but the one on the bottom gets all scratched up". I really laughed at that.
