Wrong link given there, Marc. It should be viewforum.php?f=556

Thanks for the update, everyone. It went smooth as always.
Thanks for the info. Must have gotten lost in copy & pasting. Fixed now.

Restless Rancor wrote: Sat Nov 17, 2018 10:51 am Hi, thanks for the update!

One quick question: I'm looking at updating my styles manually and use the code changes documentation to do this. When I click on any of the files listed under '3.2.3 to 3.2.4' it says 'NO VISIBLE CHANGES'. Am I missing something, or will these be updated later?

Thanks :geek:
Okay, now I find and send thanks for your results -> renewal into the code-changes:

When going from 3.1 to 3.2 there was a lot of re-parsing that needed to be done which in some cases caused some difficulties with timeouts etc.

With going from 3.2.1 to 3.2.4 it appears that the database needs to be updated again.
Does this include more re-parsing or is it a very quick update of tables ?
It would help to know so that the best method can be used to avoid issues.

For completeness sake admins should be aware of the topic Known issues in 3.2.4 which should be given consideration before updating.

Do you need to have an updated style for this release?

From what I can see there are very few actual template changes (there are a couple of css changes in prosilver) but there are quite a few template events added.

Thanks so much Marc and PHPBB for the new release.

Actually i wanted to move from 3.2.2 to 3.2.3 this weekend and was confused as all discussion posts were from past few days and when i checked the first post saw Marc's announcement dated 2 days back (17 Nov) and only then realised 3.2.4 was released.

Being a novice i usually wait for atleast 2 months before making an update and always prefer the full manual update method than the auto-update one, so want to wait for a few weeks before proceeding to 3.2.4 but totally worried about the critical security issues that prompted for this quicker newer release so want to know if i have to make this update as an emergency/critical one or can wait for a few weeks before performing the update?

Best regards,
Helios

Bertie does look cute. Might have one some day. :)
