[ANSWERED] WHO voted for which POLL option?

Post by RiTz21 » Mon Nov 26, 2018 10:24 pm

Hi!

I created a poll with multiple choices and I would like to know which user has chosen which option...
While I suspect this information is not readily available in the control panel, is there a way to check the Data base directly to get these details?

How could this be done? Which tables do I need to check? how can I do this?

THANKS for the help!!

There are 2 tables with names prefix_poll_ (_options and _votes). It might be a good starting point for a look-see to find out which info is available. ;)
The year is 2192. The British Prime Minister visits Brussels to ask for an extension of the Brexit deadline. No one remembers where this tradition originated, but every year it attracts many tourists from all over the world.

Try the users table.

Ah figured it out - I used a SQL query:

Code: Select all

SELECT username FROM phpbb_users WHERE user_id = 2 LIMIT 1
For some unknown reasons, in my phpMyAdmin, the phpbb_users is not shown on the left (the last table shown is ranks).....perhaps it is a sub-table or some such!?
Noob me doesn't know :p

No it's just another tab for the same row.
