True statements. Although if I had already been using myname.net, by default position would be to
keep myname.net and redirect it to my now-preferred myname.com. So anywhere that still has links, bookmarks, prior emails, etc., referring to myname.net will continue to work 100% successfully. Even though when they follow those links now, they will end up on myname.com because of the redirect.
Meaning you would be getting the "better known & familiar" benefit, but not the cost benefit, because now you own two domains.
