iirc that conflicted with the default route.

Hello my friend i understand.
I am testing this extension and realized 2 features that would be well appropriate if add:
1 - BBCODE to edit the FAQ
2 - A button to add more questions to the FAQ without needing to click send and then put another question

Why would you want the overhead of BBcode instead of HTML?

more practical, but it's just an idea\

EDIT
Option to hide a certain FAQ would also be useful for those who do not want to erase but leave it archived
in the list of questions, can have an alternating background color as it does in bbcodes and other parts of PHPBB3 to be easy to distinguish when deleting for example!

I'm kinda busy with private (family) things, but when I have the time I'll look into what can be added.

Ger, as a suggestion, perhaps complete what you have for now so you can get the mod approved and released for use. From there, consider the additional requests for v2 of the mod. Have to draw a line somewhere or will always be chasing more requests. My 5c worth ;)

Well, that was an odd one... Well spot..

It seemed that somehow the admin.js from my extension was loaded twice, resulting in some JS errors in the generic admin.js from phpBB ACP.
Just renaming it to fmadmin.js and calling it by it's new name resolved it. I guess phpBB dows something magic with the original name.

Try to install the new version, it should work better now.

Ger,

I have a couple suggestions...

How making format like BBcodes in admin and how the lines are striped?
How about being able to move the FAQ's up and own by clicking and dragging like BBcodes in admin?
Thanks in advance for a reply.

Formatting is done in HTML, since the formatting imported from default help files is also done in HTML.
For striping (I think you mean line-through?) you can use:

Code: Select all

<span style="text-decoration: line-through">striped text</span>
Adding a BBcode layer isn't much use here since as an administrator you propably don't want to mess up your board or your users devices throug the FAQ. If you'd want to, you have much more power tools at hand.
Since BBcode always results in HTML, you're better off using HTML directly.

You can move with arrow buttons. And BBcodes aren't moveable at all in the ACP AFAIK.

Hello Ger again, I was managing the FAQs and I missed two details that make a lot of difference:

1 - within the settings of the FAQ to be able to add new questions and answer could have a button to add more fields without going out and back again to add a new question
2 - a button to minimize the questions (like the Collapsible Forum Categories) because the add many FAQs the screen gets very big

I hope my post has been useful and THANK YOU for this amazing extension
