2nd forum with existing members

would this be possible to create a second phpbb forum , import the existing members form the original forum there, and make it so when they sign up they get access to both forums?

I have a new idea , my board is primarily for adult webmasters even though there are non-adult webmasters there.

This one is for a totally different niche and figured why not make it easy for my existing members to be able to go there and post without signing up again. It's for an end user not B2B discussion.

Just copy your board and delete al the post.
Than you have all your members on a new phpbb board.

Thanks for the idea, just asking, you mean the whole board with database, then clear the posts on the new forum, and what when they post on either forum, how will that work.

The post in the old or the new board the can't post on both boards

If you want that, just make a new forum on your old board.

That's what I want, posts to say separate and not show up on both forums.

one more question if I may, just download the existing forum, uploaded it to a new domain, delete the exiting posts, or do a new install link to the same database?

If you do a new installation than you loses al your members.

Just follow this:

And when it is working on the new domain, delete the posts
