this is FRENCH translation for the Privacy Policy extension, available on GitHub and on the EzCom Community.
French translation updated for the 2.1.0-RC7 version.
Hello
thank you for this translation.

But where can we find the 2.1.0-RC7 version of this extension please ? Only RC6 is mentioned on the first page.

Thank you

Oh yes i see, thank you. I looked into the "official" releases but i didn't know that we could use the files within the project in development.

Why is that?
There was never an answer to this guy's post. I enabled the extension and . . . blammo . . . my forum was now serving up a completely blank white page in my browser window. I ended up needing to restore my forum from server backups! (Fortunately, I'm in a beta rollout. Lesson: always test up a test forum before implementing an extension on a live forum.)

I did modify some standard files (upc.php, ucp_register.html) before activating this extension, maybe that messed things up?

Or was it something completely different?

Thanks,
Andrew

If you didn't look in the error logs for the error we will never know what the error was and is it impossible to answer the question.
Sorry! My English is bat ;) !!!

Quite possible, or one or more files did not upload correctly. Your server error logs should have the problem recorded in them.

Since the server error logs are all blank, I checked with my hosting service. They have PHP errors turned off by default, that's why I got the blank screen instead of seeing the error. I'll turn them on ("display_errors") by editing my .htaccess file.

FWIW, I'm using phpBB 3.2.5 with these extensions enabled:
Advertisement Management
Ban Hammer
Board Announcements
Google Analytics
Header Banner
Hide Birthdays
Large Font
Obscure Contact Us
Pages
phpBB Media Embed PlugIn
Stop Forum Spam
VigLink

(Not counting the Privacy Policy extension, which I've deleted for the time being.)

Any known conflicts with those?

I need to do some testing with the error messages turned on.

Thanks,
Andrew

FYI,
I use the following extensions out of your list, together with Privacy Policy without any issues.
Ban Hammer
Board Announcements
Google Analytics
Pages
phpBB Media Embed PlugIn
Stop Forum Spam
VigLink
My guess, you made a mistake in editing the files. Either in the file itself or in the way your editor saved it.

[Edit]
I got a verbose PHP error. I downloaded the extension files again today and re-uploaded them and now it's working. Dunno. Go figure.

But I still have a—probably lame—question. When I click on the "Policies" link at the bottom of the forum, I get a new page with the header and footer of my forum but no policies content. I went to the ACP and opened and submitted the pre-packaged text, but I'm still getting nothing.

Thanks,
Andrew

Hallo David,

i have downloaded the latest version, installed it on a new phpbb Forum (3.2.2) but the configuration page has only the header.
There were no configuration options.

Could the php Version be a problem?

PHP version:
7.2.15
Board version:
3.2.2

How can i solve this problem??

Thanks

Update to phpBB 3.2.5 and see if the problem is still there.

No problem with either phpBB version nor PHP version. It sounds as if one, or more, files is corrupt.

Why are you not using the release link in the first post of this topic?

Hallo David,

deleted forum and cleared the database
installed phpbb 3.2.5 new
installed the extension from the first page.

still no configuration options :(

when i click on the "privacy policy settings" i can see the options for a short time.
