Hi, apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but how do I move my forum from the root to a sub directory? Thanks

create the new directory named whatever you want.
then, using your ftp, simply highlight all of the phpbb files and drag them and drop them into that new folder.

you are done.

well, if you have "force url" set to yes in the admin panel then you will need to change the path to reflect the new directory name.

Be aware any pages you have indexed in search engines will now be invalid and anybody that has bookmarked anything is going to get a 404. The "new" pages would be treated as duplicate content by search engines and may take quite a while to appear in the index. Do a little research on .htaccess redirects, minimally redirect viewtopic.php, viewforum.php and download/file.php
