I installed and activated the extension, but there is nothing to see about the Extension in my forum.
No button to thank and nothing more. is there something more to do?

You should see a section on the right of ACP --> Extensions. Also take in mind you cannot thank yourself.

Maybe you need to clear cache.

You cannot thanks your own posts.

Also, you could check users/groups permissions, but default is to permit thanks.

Finally, is there any public URL where I can check it?

yes, it's possible to add to your custom style. Although I'm not sure where to put you from here, unless you know php, css, html & javascript .... as it could entail using some or all of those.

in theory you should just copy from prosilver the parts that you need.

UTesting your forum I've tried the Thanks Toplist address and get an error:

Unable to find template "toplist_body.html" (looked into: /[...]/public_html/forum/styles/BBOOTS/template, /[...]/public_html/forum/styles/BBOOTS/theme, /[...]/public_html/forum/styles/all/template).

This means the extension is installed and active, but something is failing. I'm not really sure what is happening because it doesn't include extension path so you can test this steps:

1) Reupload the extension. Maybe there're some files missing

2) Copy following folder:
ext\gfksx\ThanksForPosts\styles\prosilver
to
ext\gfksx\ThanksForPosts\styles\BBOOTS
(use BBOOTS in caps)

You may get the functionality but probaby you will need to edit that template files to adapt to your template if this one doesn't follow phpBB Prosilver guidelines.
