Need help with my forum, who have MSN Messenger pease help..

Any expert please add me in msn and lets have a talk please.. My brain really jam reading the guide. My msn email is gch5185@hotmail.com Thanks verymuch..

I download many (MOD) .zip and what should i do? Upload them or wat.. confused please help anyone..

most people here don't help using MSN or whatever, we help right here in the public board so eveyone can learn.

It is like this.. i have pack all the phpbb update, etc in one .zip file. where should i upload and what should i have to do next?

Did you read the readmes in the zip files?
Or do you mean you can't unpack the zip files. You need winzip from http://www.winzip.com for that.

he ask me to run the installer http://my.forums.com/phpBB2/install/install.php .. how to run?

Fresh Installation
Copy all Files from the Directory phpBB2 in the Package to a directory on your webserver, for example /phpBB2/
Run the Installer http://my.forums.com/phpBB2/install/install.php (replace my.forums.com/phpBB2/ with the path to your forum !)
Enter all Data and finish installation.
Delete or rename the directory /install.
Change Permissions for the Directorys /files, /cache, album_mod/upload, album_mod/upload/cache, images/avatars, /pafiledb/cache, /pafiledb/cache/templates and pafiledb/uploads CHMOD to 777
Change Permissions for the files includes/def_icons.php, def_themes.php, def_tree.php and def_words.php CHMOD to 666
Use the new Forum

They are instructions to install the forum.
Your forum is already installed.

Sorry i didnt read all of your post.
Do you have access to your forum files to edit them?
If you dont then you are unable to install any modifications.

Ya, i cannot access files edit. What to do now? sigh ..

Theres nothing you can do.
Unless your host provides you with a control panel to access the files to edit them there is no way of installing mods.

Have a guess

You should have set up a database. You need to tell it what you called it and what username and password it needs to access it.

You need make a database on 100webspace befor make your forum

i use 100webspace as well for my forum

advertisements
