As kinerity stated: that is incorrect.
The problem/confusion arises from the Planned Release Table : 3.2.x OK
Release:January 2017
End of Maintenance: May 2019
End of Life: November 2019

and the keyword here is Planned, also note the green OK (compared to the red EOL for 3.0.x and 3.1.x)

Since phpBB3.3 hasn't been released yet, it is unthinkable that phpBB 3.2 would not be supported anymore, a version 3.2.9 is in the making and if necessary a version 3.2.10 will be released. Also support will not automatically stop the moment 3.3 is released (although I suspect that it won't take long before support wll be limited to upgrading).
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

Yes I understand that until 3.3 is released that 3.2.x will still be patched etc, however the question is, will the next 3.2 release have php 7.3 support in it or are we still stuck waiting for 3.3 before its supported? Again I would normally prefer to be discussing when phpBB 3.3 is going to be released etc however I cannot get registered over there since the recapcha plugin is either nto configured or misconfigured. Look down towards the bottom when trying to register gives a nasty (This site key is not enabled for the invisible captcha.Privacy - Terms) notice.

The answer to that question has been and still is NO: 3.2.x will not have php 7.3 support and YES, 3.3 will be the first version with full php 7.3 support.
Anyway, heads up. phpBB3.3 is now a lot closer to being released than last week.

3.3.0-b1 (BETA 1) was released on the 23rd of October.
3.3.0-b2 (BETA 2) was released on the 23rd of November.

So if that rate holds true, we might have ourselves a Christmas present! :christmas_tree: :gift:
