Re: [3.2][DEV] Dark Mode

Thanks, I understand the fix. I don't know if it correct to put a class in <html> tag.

And the modification directly in overall_header.html is not recommanded by phpBB team.

I've to found an other way. I can't explain why adding class in body tag break the Quick reply CSS rules :?

Rather than all those edits for the Quick Reply Releaded extension to work with dark mode,
Go to: Aurelienazerty/darkMode/styles/all/theme and open: darkmode.css

Add this to the bottom:

Code: Select all

.darkmode .qr_fixed_form {
	position: sticky;
}
Save and upload.

many thanks for the extension, sadly the latest 1.1 does not work, phpbb displayed an error
(wrong directory structure) and auto-removed it. I cant even go back with the old one

I made a new version and put it to phpbb submiting process.

the principal change is the structure of the directories name, you have to put it in lower case : aurelienazerty/darkmode instead of Aurelienazerty/darkMode

Tryed it on my 3.3 testboard and works just fine. What bothers me the most so far is that it also affects the admin panel.

maybe the creator can make a switch in acp for that or use a if statement to not allow it to alter the acp

I made an unique switch for the all board (so it's aslo affect the admin panel)

For the moment, if you want to disable it in admin panel, delete acp_overall_header_head_append.html in ext/aurelienazerty/darkmode/styles/all/template/event

But, when you turn on dark mode on the OS, its affect the all os, it not exclude some part.

err, not exactly: when you search for users (ACP, users and groups, then "Find a member") the popup (member.php plus some parameters) is always on light mode.

Hello, I'm pretty new to PHP.

So, I unzipped the file Darkmode into the /ext folder. I attempted to enable it through extensions manager but I don't see it...?
