What are the features that he put in this version

The main feature is that it is compatible with PHP 7.3/7.4
Thanks. This seems like it can be done.JimA wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 12:38 pmDid you create it yourself? If so, then you'll just need to apply some changes to make it compatible with 3.3. Those aren't too much, see: https://gist.github.com/marc1706/ef18f3 ... ea837500a3BigDrago wrote: Thu Jan 23, 2020 12:24 pmOk. So I need to start all over again with the language pack for my language then?
If you've used an existing one, then you need to wait and install its updated version when it gets available.![]()

you don't need to know about that was used to gather the file by Marc) and the purple numbers represent the new and old line numbers where the line is inside the file you're looking at.I didn't rush to update this time round and i'm sticking with the 3.2.9/10 releases for the time being. Also, a phpBB 3.3 board using PHP 7.3 has a very real chance of invalidating every Argon2 password if PHP is updated to 7.4. Lanes (which they incorrectly call threads) MUST be hardcoded to 1 and removed from the services_password.yml file. They are also setting excessively low memory usage values which will render the hashes less secure than had bcrypt been used.Tread wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:07 pm Wish i had not updated from 3.2.8 to 3.3 now so many errors my members are complaining.
I implemented the argon2id password hashing and I remember setting the values to whatever the default values where in the PHP RFC. If those values have changed or there is new information out there that they should be changed you should definitely create a new tracker issue about it develop your comment on the issue so it doesn't get lost in the discussion topic.WelshPaul wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2020 11:13 pm Also, a phpBB 3.3 board using PHP 7.3 has a very real chance of invalidating every Argon2 password if PHP is updated to 7.4.
