It didn't work for me. I have phpBB 3.3.5, downloaded and upzipped Aero_1.1.6 into my /styles directory. In Admin, I hit customize, activate Aero. I made it the default, but then I get this when I go to my forums:

Code: Select all

This page isn’t working www.zaponline.org is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
So I go back in Admin, and make prosilver default. Same problem. When I used my backup prosilver from a fresh install, prosilver once again works. So just not the prosilver in the .zip file. Still no Aero though. :( Did I miss something? Did I download the wrong file?

And what does your server error logs say is causing the 500 error?

no 500 error to be seen on your board. (but you're using rockn_roll now)
Installed Aero on a 335 testboard and no problems encountered.
Spelling is freeware, which means you can use it for free.
On the other hand, it is not open source, which means you cannot change it or publish it in a modified form.

from your post it looks like you are unzipping on the server. that often causes problems. maybe try it by unzipping on your computer first then uploading the style folder to the server and then installing it.

Guys can you please advise where in the style the graduated background can be found. I want to change it slightly with respect to colours used and the fade depth (down the page) if possible?

Thanks in advance.

Depending on which color you want to change.. in theme/ (blue.css, red.css, ect.)

Code: Select all

body {
}

Edit: I have no idea what I did last night, but somehow I must have mixed up the contents of the .zip. I redownloaded and reinstalled. It looks amazing! This is the Aero that I know and remember. Thanks for keeping it up to date!
