Lock Topic stopped working

Well there’s two of us seen the same thing, let’s see if there’s any more. My test board is 3.3.7 which I intend updating tomorrow sometime I’ll have another look after that.

Yep, the locked icon is there and another user cannot post in the topic.

So then there's no problem.
Apparently you didn't realise that if you have lock permissions, you automatically have the unlock permissions also.

I have a test account on my forum and test things with that, it is a registered user no moderator or administrator privileges. I can unlock the locked topics but the test account (registered user) can not.

I may have misled myself, I was trying the ‘i’ at the top of the post method (lock topic to prevent editing) which doesn’t seem to work but, again, I’ve never used that method before, lesson, assume nothing. Using the options check box at the bottom of the post does in fact work for me.

MCP method works and you are right, as the late great Benny Hill said, never ass u me which we are all guilty of at one point or another in life.
