prosilver only one available
Which CAPTCHA are you using for registration?
Did not know there were options. It's several characters at all angles, hard to see on background.
What (if any) extensions have you enabled?
none
thank you for all that insight.coleman wrote:It's stealth account that can be used for various things
Thats why you are getting lots of bots registering. That CAPTCHA was broken by bots many years ago. Use the inbuilt Q&A with an unGoogable answer, avoiding colours numbers etc
That should help a lot then. I have more of a Windows UI leaning, so when days ago I looked at the captcha options, since that selection is greyed out, to me that means - it's not an option.HiFiKabin wrote:click the dropdown box and select Q&A (it will be greyed out)
Just briefly, if you can, how would that even be possible?HiFiKabin wrote:That CAPTCHA was broken by bots many years ago.

Spambots are quite capable of reading the wobbly letter type CAPTCHAs and solving them, they’re programmed that way. Once one beats it the rest follow and all hell breaks out. They can also use search engines like we do in their quests for entry so make sure your answers can’t be Googled. I’d suggest activating the Newly Registered User group as well.
