how do I add two settings on here to my own forum site?

Post by miroslavglavic »

On the side, my name shows up. I don't see that setting on my own phpbb forum.
The other one is the online image. On my site it shows as a green dot. Here it shows like this:

How do I add the name feature on my own sidebar and change the online status image to a ribbon like on here (phpbb.com) but a different colour (I do have the image ready).

how about a link to your site so we can see what is going on.
as far as the online image , that particular image is part of prosilver so if you are using some other style it will not show.
what side does your name show up? where?
need more info.

thamks,
robert

Have you tried it with prosilver?

What is your setting for ACP > General > Server configuration > Load settings > Enable display of user online/offline information

it's either an extension that replaced the online icon with a green dot or style author if it is not prosilver

Yes it was an extension. To check I disabled all extension, on another browser tab I had the board index page. Hey look the ONLINE ribbon thing showed up. So browser tab 1 I had the extensions list, I enabled one at the time then switched to browser tab 2 then refreshed. the ONLINE ribbon thing showed...until it turned to the green dot. It was the User Post Profile Side Selector extension. I disabled, deleted the data then removed the files.

You should report that to the extension author.

Report what? The feature of this extension?
The online images on posts, PM's and profiles are replaced with a Font Awesome icon next to the usernames.

Ok maybe don’t then - I didn’t examine the extension.
