[Solved] Cannot Create Contribution

Hello Guys,

Someone told me that there is a button "New Contribution" in the Customisation Database (https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/), but I can't find it

Can someone help me, I want to add my developed extension (viewtopic.php?t=2628056) to the Extension DB

right there on that page you linked to is a big button with the words "new contribution" and a plus sign +

click on that button and fill in the form.

Hello.

I know what your problem is. Using a user account I created only to test this site's Newly Registered Users Restrictions, I logged in and found the button to be missing as well. It is a new user restriction on this site due to you having a low post count. In other-words, an anti-spam feature.

In order to create a "contribution," you need a higher post-count. Probably a minimum of two or three posts. And posts in General Discussion and Test Me don't count to post count either.

I am newly registered user and I also do not see button "New Contribution" in the Customisation Database.
I have made Language Pack of Lithuanian (Lietuvių) for phpBB 3.3.12 and I am unable to upload it.
The requirement of high post-count before making contribution hinders the uploads of new contributions.

There isn't a high post count. It's set at two to help weed out spam. One to go.

Despite one approved post (above), the counter still says “Posts: 0”.
Does this mean that posting in this topic does not increase the counter?

My mistake, post counts don't increase in general discussion. I'll have someone fix it for you.

Isn't there also (or at least I'm sure there used to be) a 24hr membership soft limiter as well. You had to be registered for at least a day before you could access certain features.

When I log into GitHub, I can upload program code updates without any requirement of post-count.
Post-count requirement is illogical for creating "New Contribution" in the Customisation Database.
It would be more logical to make moderated posting of "New Contributions" in the Customisation Database for new users, just like moderated posting is used here in this thread.
It is really annoying to find out in which threads I need to post how many posts before I will be able to create "New Contribution" in the Customisation Database.
I have made Language Pack of Lithuanian (Lietuvių) for phpBB 3.3.12, the translation took time, and now and I am unable to upload it.
I am here not to spam threads with random posts, I am here to upload Pack of Lithuanian (Lietuvių) for phpBB 3.3.12.
Who can fix this problem?
